Expectations

By the end of this unit it is expected that all students will recognise the characteristics of Henry Moore’s sculptures. Students will explore the shapes and forms Moore used through mixed media drawing. The key skill of figure drawing will be developed, focusing on correct proportions and observation allowing students to then distort their drawings to develop Henry Moore style design pages. Students will then be able to develop their clay modelling skills by making their own small sculptures.
