Enrichment

A really exciting part of life at Chesterton is our Enrichment. During the 2016-2017 academic year Enrichment will take place from Monday 26th – Wednesday 28 June.

This is a chance for students in Years 7, 8 & 9 to really stretch themselves, to try something new and develop a range of skills for life. The activities will require team building and will develop peer bonding, independence, resilience, self-confidence, personal organisation and acquisition of knowledge.

We offer a range of residential activities both in the UK and overseas. All residential activities are led by internal staff and external specialist organisations and give students the opportunities to explore different cultures as well as try new things.

Students are also offered a wide variety of college and locally based activities.

All of the above gives our students new experiences which we hope will capture enthusiasm, imagination and inspire.

Many activities remain on the College site; structured within the College day to enable students to arrive and depart for school as normal. Activities sometimes combine time on site with external visits.

Listed below is a brief outline of the opportunities available to each year.
