In recent academic years the College has been developing teaching and learning through a number of initiatives. One of these was to provide personal tablet devices for several year groups of students. As has been outlined in our evaluation report, whilst there are improvements still to be made, staff feel that providing access to a tablet for each student has had a positive impact on learning and will assist student progress at Chesterton. Based on this, it is our intention that all students in years 8-11 will have access to a tablet device for use in the classroom and at home.

Many other schools have introduced 1-1 tablets, and we have run trials this year. Here are some key links:

We have also made this collection of links to all the research and experience reports that we could find.
